BrilliantTips (http://blog.brillianttrips.com) relaunched yesterday, having an immediate impact visitors overnight (literally). “Our ‘liked’ rating on stumbleupon went from 1% to 55% overnight,” said Rich Whitaker, president of BrilliantTrips.

This iteration of the blog has quite a few improvements and enhancements over the previous version, but still retains the look and feel that branded the site. The biggest update is the new design heirarchy giving visitors a clearer understanding of what’s available and how to access it. We’ve also made use of some great plug-ins to provide additional functionality to the blog.

The blog platform we used is WordPress, and the new design was based on an excellent theme developed by Michael Hutagalung. Starting with the underlying structure and functionality, we were able to design a well-branded, clean, crisp, and functional blog that helps the content shine.
